Note from Jamie

I'm listening to the book, "The Gap and The Gain," by Dan Sullivan.

Even though I'm still in the beginning pages, I've already had paradigm shifting realizations.

As a high-achiever, it’s easy for me to get caught up in where I want to be, and lose sight of how far I've already come. This is called "The Gap" thinking and can be discouraging.

I'm ready to shift my focus from the gap to the gain. "The Gain" represents the progress I've already made, and is a motivating reminder that every step counts.

Here’s how I'm applying "The Gap and The Gain" teachings:

1. Recognize My Progress: Instead of fixating on how far I have to go, I take time to appreciate how far I've come. Every step I've taken is progress. I acknowledge it, celebrate it, and let it motivate me.

2. Embrace My Worth: I am enough, just as I am. I embrace my worth and believe in my abilities. I trust that I possess the strength, skills, and resources to achieve my goals.

3. Practice Gratitude: I take time each day to express gratitude for what I have accomplished and the resources available to me. Gratitude helps shift my focus from what's lacking to what's abundant in my life.

4. Set Realistic Goals: I break down my larger goals into smaller, more manageable steps. By focusing on these smaller victories, I can experience the gain and keep moving forward.

Personal growth is a journey, not a race. By shifting my focus from the gap to the gain, I can maintain motivation, cultivate gratitude, and embrace the fact that I am enough, and I have enough, right now, right as I am.

Here's to celebrating progress and embracing the journey!

Nourish Pick of the Week

Organic Eye Makeup Remover

Did you know that we make an Organic Eye Makeup Remover?!

I made this product for myself even before launching Nourish.

It gently removes eye shadow, brow gel, eyeliner and mascara!

Before I knew better, the eye makeup remover I previously used contained 19 ingredients and I could only pronounce one of them.

At Nourish, we use ONE high-quality, organic, non-GMO ingredient in our product.

It's simple, clean, and it really works!

Recipe of the Week

Pineapple Throne Chicken

This week's recipe, Pineapple Throne Chicken, comes from Nourish Teammate, Beth.

She shared, "The recipe is so good that we plan to make it a part of our regular grilling rotation."

Beth used the leftover salsa, pineapple, and chicken and turned it into two additional meals: (1) served over romaine lettuce and (2) combined into a chicken salad for a pita sandwich.
